Abby loves covering a wide range of stories from culture and entertainment to politics, she does not want any story to go untold. After college, she hopes to work in D.C. as a news reporter at a television broadcast station.

Jordan Cooper is a third-year student at James Madison University double majoring in Communication and Media Arts and Design. Outside of academics, she is passionate about photography and writing, reflecting her commitment to organization, communication, and storytelling.

Alexa Bonilla is a rising junior at JMU and the news director of its campus broadcast, Breeze TV. Alexa is excited to enhance her reporting skills and political knowledge at the Republican and Democratic National Conventions.

Eleanor, a rising junior at JMU, is the editor-in-chief of The Breeze news organization. She previously served as news editor and has been a contributing writer to The Harrisonburg Citizen.

Ryan Alessi

In addition to teaching journalism and media at James Madison University, Alessi is co-founder of independent online news organization The Harrisonburg Citizen. He covered politics for 15 years in Kentucky and Washington, D.C.

McKenna Schonbrun

McKenna, a rising senior and JMU Sports Network sideline reporter, has interned at WAVY-TV in Portsmouth. She is excited to expand her reporting skills beyond the sidelines by covering the 2024 national conventions.

Elizabeth Price

Elizabeth spent nearly a decade as a copy editor and page designer, mostly in the sports section for the Lexington Herald-Leader. She is now an associate professor and business librarian at James Madison University.
